| Claire
Lieberman, in her video work, photography and sculptural
installations, exploits such materials as Jell-O, alabaster, wax,
glass, rubber and marble to create images that trigger a sense of
dislocation. Juxtaposing solid and ephemeral materials with static
and kinetic imagery, Lieberman creates a surprising reality where
the solidity and rigidity of both image and material remain unresolved.
