Jeffrey D Kaller has been Deputy Head of Department / Rektor at University of Gothenburg, HDK - Department of Craft and Design / Steneby since 2008. Originally from Philadelphia, he received his BFA from the University of the Arts, MFA from Alfred University, and was a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Finland. He taught at Columbus State University from 2001-2008, during which time he also served as Head of the Department of Art. He has been an artist in residence at the Clay Studio in Philadelphia and has participated in Ceramic workshops at the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts in Maine and the International Workshop for Ceramic Art in Tokoname, Japan. Kaller's work is held in several public and private collections including The San Angelo Museum of Art and the Fulbright Center in Helsinki, Finland, and the Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art in Alfred, NY.
