The black drawing inside this work is created by building up thin layers of pigmented liquid porcelain so that they emerge from the kiln as shell-like paper. The drawing was then laser etched to created faint white lines.The dimensional line element is a stack of layered pigmented porcelain cut into a strip and arranged atop the stoneware frame.
